chinaraven: This whole NERO Lawsuit thing.

I was thinking about this - part of Ventrella's claim is copyright infringement.

Yes he was one of the original authors of the rule book, but when he split off he changed his book greatly for their game.  If I read it wrong let me know - but isn't he only one of several writers for that rule book?  I haven't seen any reference to Craig and Debbie Walton (not sure of her new last name)  or to Ford Ivey - Mike didn't do this alone, didn't do it in a vaccuum... so how does he get sole credit that he's using for the basis of this suit?

I really don't get it...

lehulei: Introduction

I'm currently an NPC at NERO Chronicles (although I have a lot of friends there who also play at Midwest). I played my first event last month and am now addicted.

And of course I'm making all of my friends addicted too >XD

I suppose it doesn't help that I'm a costuming nut...*is buying 20 patterns this weekend that she can make stuff for herself/friends for NERO with @ JoAnn's 99c pattern sale x.x;;*

I will post pictures when I get the new ones done ^_^:;

zwingll: HELLO!

Hello NERO people! yes a community is much needed!

i am the current Monster Mistress of NERO seattle! even though i started NERO only a year ago! *gasp* my friends decided with all my costume crew experience it would be a good fit. and now i am faced with the challenge of making a monster camp that ummm itsn't always a mess and a battle to find things?

i was wondering how other chapters run their monster camp. i also wanted to say hello! because saying hello and making new friends is always a good idea!

~peace love and happiness~

chinaraven: Something to do in CT this weekend

Where: Woodbridge CT
When: Sunday August 8, 2004
Cost: We're requesting a 5.00 donation per person for burgers, dogs and drinks (all NON alcoholic)
(NERO International Memberships will be available for purchase as well though, and if you are interested in attending an upcoming event and are a new player you will qualify for the new player pack, which is a discount on membership and first event cost.)
What are we doing? Training/Orienting new players, hanging out with older players and getting some practice in. With Avendale's event on August 20, and the NERO Hartford event the weekend after - we want to get them up to speed before they are set loose in game.
Will you be doing any modules? That depends on the player turn out we get, and how many previously experienced players show up to help out.
Will there be official NERO Reps there? Well NERO Hartford's head of Weapons and Safety, plus his second will be there and they will be training people in NERO style fighting.
NERO's Hartford Area coordinator will be there too and will be a liaison for NERO International, so we should be definitely covered for official reps! However - Current NERO Players are welcome and wanted. This is not limited to promoting NERO Avendale or NERO Hartford alone...

Interested?

Contact Angela Morris - a.morris@nerolarp.com to RSVP and to get the link to directions.
This is our first day like this and we intend to do more!

Handmade wooden rune sets...
also tarot bags, jewelry and more.
Been posting the following for C. trying to drum up some sales, if anyone can do me a favor and pass this along.
The rune sets are awesome, cedar, hand carved and the bags are handmade.

Am posting this for a friend, he has just put a lot of handmade wooden rune sets on line and some really nice tarot bags.
Feel free to look.
Later he will be putting up some neclaces, some runes, some totem animals, some just positively beautiful wood and wire work necklaces.
Thanks guys.
